How it works
The test downloads and uploads data between your browser and the nearest location of Cloudflare's global network, using Cloudflare's open-source speed test engine, and measures how fast it goes.
Download and upload are shown in megabits per second (Mbps). Ping (latency) is the time a tiny message takes to go there and back; jitter is how much that time varies. Low ping and jitter matter most for video calls and gaming.
A test uses roughly 20–200 MB of data depending on your speed, so keep that in mind on a mobile data plan. Results vary with Wi-Fi signal, other devices on your network and the time of day; for the most accurate result use a cable and close other downloads.
Globzi doesn't store or send your results anywhere.
