OpenAPI Validator
Validate OpenAPI JSON or YAML locally, including document structure and local references.

Swagger 2.0, OpenAPI 3.0.x and 3.1.x. Local references only. YAML aliases and external references are disabled. Validation checks document structure and local references; it does not test the API server or prove that every schema or example is semantically correct.
How it works
Paste or load a JSON or YAML API specification up to 250 KB. Supports Swagger 2.0 and the supported OpenAPI 3.0.x and 3.1.x versions shown in the tool. Validation runs in a cancellable background worker using Swagger Parser.
The validator checks supported document schemas and local references. External references are disabled: bundle multi-file specifications first. YAML aliases, recursive YAML objects and reserved object keys are not supported.
A successful result is not a full API audit. It does not call your API, guarantee semantic correctness, or validate every example against its schema. Documents stay in the browser and no remote schema files are downloaded.
