How it works

Passwords are created with your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues) and never leave your device.

Strength is shown as entropy: the number of guesses an attacker would need, in bits. Around 80 bits or more is very strong for most uses.

Use a different password for every site, and a password manager to remember them.
