Blur an Image

Soften an image with adjustable blur, compare the original and download the result.

How it works

Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image and adjust the blur strength. The effect applies to the entire image. Select Show original to compare, or set the strength to zero to remove the effect.

Blur strength is measured in pixels of the original image. The preview is scaled down for speed; downloads keep the original dimensions. Images must be no larger than 16 megapixels or 8,192 pixels on either side.

Download a PNG to preserve transparency, or a JPG with a white background. All processing happens in your browser; your image is never uploaded. A browser with Canvas filter support is required.
