SVG Converter
Turn JPG or PNG images into SVG vector paths, or export SVG to PNG, JPG and WebP.
JPG / PNG to SVG
Trace your image into real vector paths. Best for logos, icons and illustrations; photographs become stylized artwork.
SVG to PNG / JPG / WebP
How it works
To create an SVG, choose a JPG or PNG and adjust colors, detail and tracing resolution. The browser traces vector paths with ImageTracerJS; it does not just embed your photo. Photos produce a stylized result; logos and illustrations usually work best. Tracing is limited to 1,200 pixels on the longest side for performance, but the resulting paths scale to any size.
To export an SVG, choose an SVG file, select PNG, JPG or WebP, and set the output dimensions. Keep the aspect ratio locked to resize without stretching. The download uses the dimensions you specify, up to 16 megapixels and 8,192 pixels on either side.
PNG and WebP can preserve transparency. JPG always uses your chosen background color. PNG is lossless; the quality setting controls JPG and WebP compression.
SVG files are rendered as isolated images, never inserted into the page as active markup. Scripts do not run, and external images, fonts or styles may be omitted. Use self-contained SVGs and convert text to paths for consistent results. Animated SVGs are not supported.
Conversion runs in your browser without uploading your file. Vector tracing can take time; you can cancel a conversion and try simpler settings.
